This is weird...

So... what happnens is I try to open minecraft. That works, but when I hit log in it freezes. Ive tried atleast 20 times and the same thing happens. Even after I restart my computer. Does anyone know whats going on? Happening to anyone else? Minecraft.net is down so that may be causing it... but I just dont know this has never happened to me before.

Maybe they're implementing the stuff for 1.8 into their database...idk why that would shut down all of minecraft but its a possibility especially since tomorrow was the said date for release

I am able to log into minecraft after like 7 attempts but when i log into grimworld it says logging on..... the it says took too long, you have been disconected. i dont know why this is happening D:

Yeah I'm having the issue Frog is having but instead of it taking so long it disconnects, it freezes the game right away...

I'm pretty sure this is entirely minecraft.net.

So i finally got minecraft open. And I have the same problem with the server... kinda when I hit connect or whatever the button says it freezes. Now I also cant get minecraft back up and after a few seconds the background behind the login bar turns black.
Well I hope it just is minecraft.net and not a problem on my end. You guys can open minecraft, I cant get past the logging in part.
